Hi,

I have realised that we haven't blogged about our stay in April so here goes.  We arrived in Orlando on a beautiful sunny day, if not a bit windy.  The pilot managed to land the BA plane quite smoothly in a strong crosswind, but didn't let on until we had touched down safely!

We went through security, it pays to hurry to get in the shortest queue as this can take a considerable time, while your baggage rides the carousel the other side. After going through customs there is a little shuttle ride to the main building. We take the luggage ourselves, on the little monorail, as we feel it is quicker, but you can hand it over , to collect again in the main terminal building.( It helps to have wheels on your cases ) Then we descend to the ground floor, to the car rental desks.  Again it pays to hurry as the queue here can be long! Through experience, we book our car rental beforehand at Holiday Autos 

 At last, we negotiated a deal to upgrade to a SUV and we are out on the open roads! AWESOME
